Furthermore, I absolutely cannot wait to start watching the 1983 mini-series adaptation of this book with the Club. My mom was a big fan of the novel and CBS show from years and years ago, so it's been nice to talk with her about it as well. Although she's very nearly spoiled several major plot points in it for me... She just gets (like myself) a bit overexcited. You know the type.
